If there’s a box with the need to be labeled, in a Cliff Notes formula kind of way, it would mention that I am a photographer whose interests include Action Sports, Nature and Portraits of other people around me. I’m a person who has never been comfortable with the label, Artist…I think for the most part because of the angst living in the eye of the beholder that it brings…which causes me to think too much about the image from time to time. Which for me has proved to pull me out of the moment of the image and kill the fun of it. Not that everything a person does in life is to be strictly fun…but consternation in my little, slightly introverted world.
